I love these nails because they are true to life. Like real Christmas lights, they aren’t that exciting by the light of day, but at night they light right up!

Today I have my first holiday nails to show y’all! I just joined a nail art group that posts a week’s worth of nails each month relating to a specific theme and this month’s theme is (of course) FESTIVENESS! So I hope y’all are ready for five sweet (and GLITTERY) holiday-themed manis this week cuz I’m super pumped to show you them. I did these glittery poinsettia nails a couple weeks ago and it’s been hard to wait to post them because I love them a lot… so much that I might re-do them for my actual Christmas nails. You can (AND SHOULD) go check out my blog post for more pictures and an explanation of how I did these!

One of my brother’s best friends is getting married tomorrow. So, I decided to do a matching manicure with my outfit. It’s definitely not identical, this manicure is my interpretation of the print on my romper. I wish I was talented enough to make it identical! Haha.
NOTW. Pink ombré edition.

Short on time this week but I needed something FRESH on my nails. Haha. The ombre look has really become one of my favorite manicures to do. This time, I did in pink. Super simple but still artsy!
NOTW. Leopard print (returns) edition.
Samoan Sand by OPI
Dim Sum Plum by OPI
Ogre-The-Top Blue by OPI
Four Leaf Clover by China Glaze
I’m in love with Samoan Sand (the nude base)! It’s officially one of my favorite nude colors. Thank you @caleelovesnails for sending me a bottle! It’s been a while since I’ve done anything animal print on my nails. I gotta say, I love how the color combo turned out! The bottle I’m holding is what I have on my thumb.
NOTW. Flakies & bling edition (lol).
DS Magic by OPI (base)
Shine of The Times by Essie (2 coats)
INSPIRED by @prettyproject’s similar mani (hers is matte, I used a topcoat). I fell in love with her version and decided to give it a go. I usually keep my accent nail relatively simple but this time I wanted to do something I haven’t done before! Different sized rhinestones for a little bling and flakies. Flakies are so hard to capture on camera! I had to take multiple shots just to get a decent one. Overall, I’m in love with this combo! (See another view of this mani here.)
NOTW. Nailside cloud edition.
-Power Clutch by Essie (main base)
-Industrial by MARK. (base ring finger)
-Tinsel Town by China Glaze (glitter - a gift from Seestar)
With recent events I feel a little uninspired. But I need to keep myself busy to get my mind off of things and decided to do my nails. I saw Nailside’s latest mani and I really like the idea and colors, so I gave it a try. I truly love her work. I wish I was as good as her!
